Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper & Executive Assistant to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our financial management and administrative operations. This position provides bookkeeping and administrative support to he organization and executive Director. This position helps maintain accurate financial records and provides essential administrative assistance to support our mission of serving children and youth. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for accounting, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks. Process bills, payments, deposits, reimbursements, and other financial transactions. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts. Assist with payroll and monthly financial reports. Track program, grant, and organizational expenses. Maintain organized records for grants, audits, and tax reporting. Communicate with the organization's vendors and financial institutions. Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information.
Executive & Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the Executive Director. Assist with scheduling, correspondence, meetings, and organizational records. Assist with Board of Director meeting preparation and materials. Maintain electronic and physical files. Assist with donor, grant, fundraising, and event-related administrative tasks. Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative experience. Nonprofit or youth-serving organization experience is a plus. Proficient in Excel and Quickbooks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable and able to work independently. Good communication and computer skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Commitment to supporting children, youth, families, and the community.
Work Schedule:
This is a 15-hour-per-week part-time position. The schedule may be flexible and will be determined in coordination with the Executive Director. Occasional additional hours may be available for Board Meetings, fundraising events, or special projects. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
