File Clerk I

The Job:

The File Clerk will assist the Controllership Team prepare for an office move by cleaning our file rooms and offices. Responsibilities include identifying files that need to be organized, indexed, boxed and labeled for offsite storage at Iron Mountain. Additional responsibilities will include purging of documents and files that can be shredded, and general file room cleanup. The File Clerk will receive guidance from a supervisor and other team members in each area of the Controllership who are familiar with their file rooms. The Daily -

Major Activities:

• Organize, sort, box and label files for offsite storage
• Purge files from binders or file cabinets and place in shredder bins
• Place empty binders and unused office supplies in speed packs for donation or disposal

Supervisor The Essentials:

• Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• High school diploma or GED typically required.
• 0-3 years of experience
