Job Description

A well-established San Francisco-based law firm is seeking a File Clerk to support its administrative and legal operations. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in an organized, fast-paced office environment. The File Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate physical and electronic filing systems and providing clerical support to attorneys and staff across multiple practice areas.

Key ResponsibilitiesOrganize, maintain, and audit physical and electronic filesScan, index, and upload documents into the document management systemRetrieve, file, and distribute legal documents and correspondenceAssist with incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and interoffice distributionSupport attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff with filing and clerical tasksEnsure confidentiality and compliance with file retention policies
