Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic legal team as a Legal File Clerk, where your organizational prowess and attention to detail will keep our legal operations running smoothly. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain legal files, support research and administrative tasks, and ensure that all documentation is accurate, accessible, and compliant with firm standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal administrative skills within a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Organize, file, and maintain physical and electronic legal documents with precision and efficiency Assist with legal research by gathering relevant case law, statutes, and regulatory information Support attorneys and paralegals by preparing drafts of legal documents and correspondence Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely delivery of legal materials Conduct analysis of case files to verify completeness and accuracy of documentation Perform routine administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and record keeping Ensure all files are properly labeled, stored securely, and easily retrievable for audits or court proceedings Speak to clients and provide case updates Draft retainers and invoices Set the MOOD for the whole office. Qualifications Strong analysis skills with the ability to review complex legal documents critically Experience in scanning, uploading, Google Docs, spreadsheets and using online databases Prior administrative experience, preferably within a legal or professional services setting Legal assistant experience is a plus but not required; familiarity with legal terminology is beneficial Excellent writing and communication skills Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple files and deadlines effectively Proficiency in filing systems—both physical and digital—and attention to detail in document management Bilingual in Spanish and English This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the legal field by honing their research, administrative, and organizational abilities. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
