Administrative Records Clerk Job Responsibilities:
Process, organize, and maintain confidential records and case files. Perform data entry and update electronic records and tracking spreadsheets. Scan, index, and electronically file medical, legal, and other confidential documents. Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper filing. Prepare paper files for digital scanning and records management. Route documents and case files to the appropriate department or staff member. Communicate professionally with internal departments and partner agencies regarding records and document status. Assist with document control, records retention, mail processing, and other administrative support duties. Provide backup support for office operations and complete special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Administrative Records Clerk Job Qualifications:
Previous experience in administrative support, clerical work, records management, document processing, data entry, or office administration preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work accurately with confidential information. Comfortable using computers, scanners, Microsoft Office, and electronic document management systems. Ability to prioritize work, follow detailed procedures, and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent required.
