File Clerk -

Non-Exempt Position Summary:
This position will scan and digitize legal documents and files, ensuring that all documents are properly labeled and saved in our electronic database.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Scan and digitize legal documents and files. Ensure that all documents are properly labeled and stored in our electronic database. Organize and maintain physical files. Set up files for new clients. Print and assemble hearing/trial notebooks. Assist with document retrieval and distribution. Perform quality control checks on scanned documents. Scan in Attorney notes on documents, meetings, and phone calls. Ensure that all documents are scanned accurately and in a timely manner. Set up mail merge, enter data, print, save, and send collection letters. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience as a file scanning clerk is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work efficiently in Windows-based computer applications. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
