Are you comfortable using excel spreadsheets?
Can you lift boxes that are 10-15 lbs
How do you keep yourself focused/motivated on tasks that are repetitive?
Are you organized? This job will require you to pull files form a shelf and organize them in boxes by year closed. From there you will be required to log them and the label on a spreadsheet.•
Job Description File Clerk Search for and pull files off shelves according to an account closed filing list
Shred files past required closed account retention date
Package files not being shredded (but closed) into boxes by year closed date
Label boxes with account numbers, closed date and date of destruction
Empty all files off shelving unit 2 for facilities maintenance
Condense and reorganize remaining open account files on shelving by account number order
Preparation of file boxes to ship to offsite retention (if needed) utilizing offsite locations instructions and materials
