Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented General Office Clerk to support daily administrative operations for a Contract position based in Buffalo, New York. This role is ideal for someone who works efficiently with documents, maintains accurate records, and provides reliable back-office assistance. The successful candidate will help keep office workflows organized through file management, scanning, and data handling while contributing to a smooth and productive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process paper and digital records by scanning, indexing, and storing documents in an organized manner
- Maintain orderly filing systems so materials can be retrieved quickly and accurately when needed
- Enter information into internal databases and spreadsheets with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness
- Provide administrative support for back-office tasks to help daily operations run efficiently
- Review documents for clarity, legibility, and completeness before submitting or filing them
- Sort, categorize, and prepare incoming materials for distribution, storage, or further processing
- Assist with routine clerical duties such as copying, compiling records, and updating office logs
