Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to support document organization and records management for our client in Milwaukie, OR. This is a part-time Contract position suited for someone who works carefully with paper and digital files while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will help keep records accessible, organized, and up to date through consistent filing, scanning, and document handling.
Responsibilities:
  • Organize paper records and maintain filing systems so documents can be retrieved quickly and accurately.
  • Sort, label, and store file boxes in designated areas while keeping physical records in proper order.
  • Scan hard-copy materials and convert them into clear, searchable electronic files.
  • Upload and categorize digital documents within e-filing systems according to established naming and retention guidelines.
  • Review incoming paperwork for completeness and route documents to the appropriate file location.
  • Retrieve requested records for team members and return materials to the correct place after use.
  • Maintain document confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care at all times.
