Key Objectives The File Clerk will be responsible for organizing, managing, and retrieving files as needed, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with company policies. This role supports various departments by providing timely access to important documents and maintaining an orderly filing system. Responsibilities Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for easy retrieval and reference. Receive, sort, and file incoming documents accurately and efficiently. Retrieve files and documents promptly upon request from internal teams. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information in compliance with company policies. Conduct regular audits to verify file accuracy and completeness. Assist with scanning, indexing, and archiving documents as needed. Collaborate with team members to streamline filing processes and improve efficiency. Maintain inventory of office supplies related to filing and document management. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus. Previous experience in file management, records keeping, or administrative support preferred. Proficient with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and electronic filing systems. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to work on site or remotely, depending on business needs.
