Part-time Medical Insurance Specialist

Description This contract role focuses on entering patient information into the EMR system and scanning high volumes of paper charts for digital archiving. There is no patient interaction required, and candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage repetitive tasks efficiently. Create new patient profiles in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system Scan complete paper charts into the system, ensuring accurate capture of Name, Address, and Date of Birth Handle document volumes ranging from 15 to 1,500 pages per chart Ensure data is accurately entered and documents are correctly categorized Shred paper documents after successful scanning Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records Work alongside office staff in a front-desk environment Skills Administration, Clerical, data entry, scanning, file clerk, microsoft office, fax machine, Filing, Front desk Additional Skills & Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable with repetitive tasks and large-volume document scanning Typing and basic computer navigation skills Strong attention to detail Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Brownsville, TX.
