Wide Format Printer Operator Cedar City, UT | On-site | Full-time | Hourly Job Description We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Wide Format Printer Operator to join our manufacturing team in Cedar City, Utah. This is a hands-on production role responsible for printing and finishing graphics used in retail environments and other custom projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work, is comfortable working with production equipment, and can manage multiple jobs while meeting established deadlines. This position works closely with other Manufacturing departments to ensure printed products are completed correctly and ready for the next stage of production. What You'll Do Operate wide-format printers and related print production equipment Prepare files and materials for printing according to job specifications Monitor print quality, color, alignment, and overall accuracy throughout production Perform finishing tasks such as laminating, trimming, mounting, and preparing graphics for production or installation Complete quality checks before finished products move to the next department Follow daily production schedules and established job priorities Maintain printers and production equipment through routine cleaning and preventative maintenance Identify and communicate equipment issues, material shortages, or production concerns Track and maintain commonly used print materials and supplies Accurately follow work orders, engineered drawings, reference numbers, and project specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate job status and potential delays with the appropriate team members Assist other Manufacturing departments as needed What We're Looking For Previous wide-format printing, sign production, or related manufacturing experience preferred Experience operating large-format printers and finishing equipment is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, and production specifications Comfortable working with computers and print production software Ability to organize and prioritize multiple jobs Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment Dependable attendance and ability to meet production deadlines Physical Requirements This position is active and requires regular movement throughout the production area.
