Pay:
$17-18/hour (based on experience)
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
Benefits:

Addison Group is hiring an Office Assistant for our client, a large, established organization with a professional corporate office environment. This temporary position will provide administrative support to the Human Resources team and potentially other departments during preparation for an upcoming office relocation.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to provide hands-on administrative support during a short-term office transition. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working onsite in a professional office environment and be comfortable handling routine document management tasks, including filing, scanning, and document disposal. Key Responsibilities Organize and maintain paper files and documents in accordance with established procedures. Scan paper records and convert documents into electronic files. Operate standard office equipment, including scanners and copy machines. Prepare documents for secure shredding and assist with general document organization. Provide additional administrative assistance to the HR team and other departments as needed. Maintain an organized and professional work area while handling documents with care and attention to detail. Qualifications Prior onsite office assistant or administrative support experience in a professional corporate environment. Comfortable using basic office equipment, including scanners and copy machines. Working knowledge of electronic and paper filing procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, professional, and able to stay focused while completing repetitive administrative tasks. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Must be able to reliably commute to the Reston, VA worksite. Perks Short-term opportunity with an established corporate organization.
