Temporary Contract Clerk/Scanner

SUMMARY The Scanning Clerk is responsible to produce legible digital copies of documents for retention purposes and ensure accuracy of the scanned documents. This is a temporary position expected through December 2026, with potential for hire based on business needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Files within appropriate file system all dealership forms, records, reports, correspondence, or other important material Reads/examines incoming material for accuracy and legibility, gets clarification if necessary, classifies properly, and files within appropriate file system Prep and organize documents to be scanned; remove any bindings, staples, clips, etc. Scan, title and electronically file documents effectively Provide administrative assistance to other departments Maintains a professional work appearance, and clean work space Scanning misc deal documents Creating/organizing car deal jackets and factory invoice jackets Filing and Organizing wholesale/dealer trade jackets Scanning and organizing service repair orders. Licensing plates - call customers when plates are available for pick up, maintain organization of plate storage, mailing out plates when needed.
