Elm St., Henderson, KY 42420 Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Donor Screener / Drug Testing Specimen Collector to join our nonprofit organization on a part-time basis. This position is responsible for assisting with the drug-testing collection process, verifying donor information, completing required documentation, collecting specimens in accordance with established procedures, and maintaining a professional and confidential environment for every donor. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, punctual, comfortable working with people from a variety of backgrounds, and able to follow detailed procedures consistently. Training will be provided. Primary Responsibilities Greet and check in donors in a professional and respectful manner. Verify donor identification and required testing documentation. Explain the specimen collection process and provide clear instructions to donors. Conduct urine and/or other authorized specimen collections according to established procedures and organizational policies. Properly label, document, secure, and prepare specimens for testing or transport. Complete chain-of-custody forms and other required documentation accurately. Follow procedures designed to maintain specimen integrity and prevent tampering or contamination. Maintain donor privacy and confidentiality at all times. Keep the collection area clean, organized, and properly stocked. Follow applicable workplace drug-testing procedures, safety requirements, and organizational policies. Communicate professionally with donors, staff members, testing laboratories, and other authorized parties when necessary. Report collection issues or unusual circumstances to the appropriate supervisor. Perform additional administrative or collection-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional demeanor. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Comfortable working independently after training. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Previous experience in drug testing, specimen collection, healthcare, occupational health, corrections, human services, or a related field is helpful but not required. Must be willing to complete required training and certification, if applicable.
