Job Summary The East Palestine Train Derailment Health Research Program is seeking five Study Ambassadors to serve as trusted voices for the research in their own communities. Ambassadors will help connect residents of East Palestine, Ohio, and the surrounding region, including Western Pennsylvania with learning about and taking part in the study. They will also play an active role in communication about the ongoing research and it's findings with the communities.

/ Abilities Required Lives in, works in, or has strong ties to East Palestine or the surrounding Ohio and Pennsylvania communities. Known and trusted within the community, with a genuine interest in the health of friends and neighbors. Comfortable starting conversations and speaking with people from all walks of life. Reliable, organized, and able to follow through on commitments. Able to respect participant privacy and handle sensitive information with discretion. Willing to complete required training before beginning outreach. At least 18 years of age. Preferred Experience in community volunteering, civic or faith-based leadership, or local advocacy. Existing connections to local schools, churches, businesses, or community groups. Comfort using social media, email, and text messaging for outreach. Personal experience with the derailment and its aftermath is valued but not required. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
