Job Description
Consumer Advocate The Office of the Missouri Attorney General has an opening in its Consumer Protection Unit for a Consumer Advocate. Responsibilities include mediating complaints and identifying those that may need further investigation. Applicants must be able to maintain confidentiality; plan, prioritize, and organize effectively; handle multiple projects while managing a large caseload; work well under pressure; analyze and interpret voluminous information quickly and accurately; meet with the public; and exercise independent judgment. Applicants must have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to conduct internet-based research, and be able to use computer programs such as Word. Starting salary is $42,872.40. This position is open until filled. EOE
