SUMMARY:
Greet customers, accept and give receipt for payments, answer and direct client inquiries.Description of Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Receive and record child support payments o Balance daily report and prepare bank deposit o Reconcile check ledgers o Generate reports for new cases o Request required information from parties and/or attorneys; verify and update information as received o Respond to routine telephone inquiries and forward cases to assigned caseworker. o Document all actions taken o Perform all other related duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of full-time general office or closely related experience. Requires the ability to perform mathematical calculations. Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.Other Requirements:
Regular attendance is essential. Requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and have a strong attention to detail. Applicant must arrive to work on time, prepared to perform assigned duties and work assigned schedule. Must have knowledge and skills for using a computer for word processing and data entry and retrieval. Taylor County will conduct a background check.- Completed typing test is required with application.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this position, a person is regularly required to walk, sit, stand, bend, stoop, lift and reach. This person will face the possibility of upset clients. May serve as a Notary Public.Starting Salary:
