You must be punctual, reliable and honest with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude. Responsibilities Open the law office in the mornings. Greet and screen all visitors and take messages when appropriate. Open and sort the mail. Deal with deliveries, clerks, runners and clients as needed. Answer all telephone calls, input accurate messages into the system, redirect calls when appropriate and book appointments. Responsible for the Attorney's calendar and reminders. Responsible for screening, printing, and organizing daily e-mails. Conduct initial client screening processes. Administrative and clerical support in accordance with office procedures. Skills Ability to communicate in a professional manner at all times, whether by telephone or face to face. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to procedures. Understanding of client confidentiality. Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion. Attention to detail. Excellent writing and grammar. Experience with legal technology (calendars, case management systems). Knowledge of MS Office. Experience Experience in performing clerical and administrative tasks, preferably in a law office. Experience using Alacourt preferred.
