This position is responsible for preparing and processing a variety of legal documents related to post-judgment collections, including garnishments, orders to release funds, satisfactions of judgment, and other related filings. The ideal candidate will have strong typing and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Previous experience in a law office, legal department, collections environment, or administrative role is preferred, but not required . We are willing to train a motivated candidate who demonstrates accuracy, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities Prepare and type garnishments and related legal documents accurately and efficiently Prepare orders to release garnished funds Prepare and process satisfactions of judgment Assist with other post-judgment legal documents and filings Review documents and account information for accuracy before processing Maintain accurate records and documentation within the office's case management system Monitor assigned work to ensure documents are completed within required deadlines Communicate with attorneys and other team members regarding case status and documentation Follow established procedures for handling sensitive and confidential information Perform other clerical and administrative duties related to the garnishment and legal process Qualifications & Skills Strong typing and data-entry skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Comfortable working with computers and learning new software systems Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills High school diploma or equivalent required Previous legal, administrative, collections, or office experience preferred but not required What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing accurate work and understands that small details matter. The right candidate will be organized, dependable, comfortable with repetitive and high-volume work, and able to maintain accuracy while working at a steady pace.
