Job Description:
Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a highly regarded law firm to hire an experienced Legal Secretary . This role is critical in supporting attorneys and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and format legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and correspondence Handle state and federal court filings (electronic and manual), ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain client files within the firm's document management system Manage attorney calendars, including deadlines, hearings, and meetings Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements Assist with time entry, billing support, and expense reimbursements Review vendor invoices and submit for payment Provide backup and overflow support to attorneys and staff as needed Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a legal secretary (litigation required) Experience with state and federal court filings Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with document management systems (iManage or similar), docketing systems, and Adobe Acrobat Familiarity with Best Authority, ALN Forms, and Aderant (or similar systems) is a plus Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines What's Offered Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Collaborative, professional work environment Opportunity to support a respected legal team All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
