An international law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with 5+ years of litigation support experience to join its growing team. - At least 3 years of experience supporting civil or commercial litigation matters in a law firm or similar legal environment.
- Hands-on experience with court filings, particularly within state courts; federal filing exposure is also valued.
- Strong calendaring and deadline management skills, including familiarity with litigation docketing practices.
- Working knowledge of court rules and the ability to research jurisdiction-specific filing requirements.
- Advanced formatting skills for legal documents, including attention to fonts, spacing, tables of contents, and overall presentation quality.
- Comfort using legal technology and document tools, including PDF editing, electronic file organization, and case management platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and follow-through when handling time-sensitive assignments.
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
