This Litigation Secretary position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives on organization, collaboration, and high-level legal support. The Litigation Secretary will work closely with attorneys and staff to ensure seamless case management, maintain strict confidentiality, and deliver exceptional administrative and legal support. This Litigation Secretary role provides a strong platform for growth within a supportive, team-driven culture.
Litigation Secretary Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, edit, proofread, and e-file a wide range of legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence in state and federal courts Manage attorney calendars, track litigation deadlines, and coordinate scheduling for depositions, court appearances, and meetings Maintain and organize case files, databases, and client records, including conflict checks, file openings/closures, and document management systems Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel while upholding professionalism and confidentiality Process incoming and outgoing mail, coordinate administrative workflows, and support overall office operations Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to support case progression, trial preparation, and special projects as needed We're open to Litigation Secretary candidates with fewer than 5 years of experience, as long as you demonstrate stability and a great attitude.
