Job Description
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of litigation legal secretary experience and strong knowledge of both California state and federal court procedures. Experience supporting labor & employment litigators is highly preferred.
ResponsibilitiesSupport attorneys handling sophisticated labor & employment litigation mattersPrepare, revise, format and proofread legal documents and correspondenceHandle state and federal court filings, including e-filingMaintain attorney calendars, deadlines and court datesAssist with discovery, pleadings, motions and trial preparationCoordinate meetings, depositions and other case-related activitiesManage documents and maintain organized electronic case filesProvide high-level administrative support in a fast-paced professional environmentQualifications5+ years of litigation legal secretary experienceStrong knowledge of California state and federal court rules and proceduresLabor & employment litigation experience strongly preferredExcellent document formatting, proofreading and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesProfessional communication skills and ability to work with attorneys at all levelsWhy Consider This Opportunity?
