About Us We are a busy and client-focused family law firm with a team of 2 attorneys dedicated to providing high-quality legal services with professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Our office values teamwork, accountability, and strong communication, and we are seeking someone who takes pride in producing accurate and organized work in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have 1-5+ years of legal secretary experience, preferably in family law, and be comfortable handling day-to-day case support tasks with minimal supervision. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines and communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Primary Responsibilities Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence Draft routine letters and client communications Prepare and organize preliminary and final disclosure documents Prepare Income and Expense Declaration accurately Coordinate service of documents and maintain proof of service records File documents electronically through California e-filing systems Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files Calendar deadlines, hearings, and follow-up tasks Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel Assist attorneys with general case management and administrative support Ensure accuracy and completeness of documents before filing or service Qualifications 1-5+ years of legal secretary experience preferred Family law experience strongly preferred Familiarity with California court filing and service procedures Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PDF/document management software Professional demeanor and strong client-service mindset
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
