Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our law office. This position requires a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in areas such as , personal injury law, and civil litigation is highly desirable. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to attorneys by managing schedules, appointments, and deadlines. Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Conduct research on various legal issues and case law to assist attorneys in case preparation. Manage data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date client records and case files. Assist with interviewing clients and gathering necessary information for case development. Ensure compliance with tribal law regulations where applicable. Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for easy access to documents. Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other stakeholders. Skills Proficiency in legal drafting with a keen attention to detail. Strong research skills to support case preparation and legal arguments. Familiarity with litigating processes across various areas of law including , personal injury law, and civil litigation. Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication during client interviews and interactions within the office.
