Prepares and files documents for court cases. Works with supervision from an attorney or paralegal; may handle paralegal tasks.
Our national law firm client located in downtown Denver is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented L itigation Legal Secretary to join their dynamic legal team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys engaged in commercial and civil litigation cases. This requires 5 days a week in-office. Responsibilities Comprehensive litigation support, including preparing, revising, and finalizing correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents, while managing electronic and court filings across state and federal jurisdictions, including CO, TX and CA. Coordinate depositions, meetings, and travel arrangements, maintain attorney calendars, and assist with billing, time entry, and expense reporting. Conflict checks, opening new matters, maintaining client files, and supporting overall practice operations by anticipating next steps and ensuring deadlines and priorities are effectively managed. Qualifications Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Strong litigation support experience and the ability to independently manage a busy desk with confidence and accuracy. Excellent judgment, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to supporting attorneys and contributing to a positive, team-oriented office culture. 3+ years of litigation legal administrative experience within a large law firm preferred Experience with state and federal e-filing, including familiarity with CO, TX, and CA courts preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with document management, billing, and time entry systems Salary Range•65,000•$95,000 annually.
