Full Job Description Hearing Coordinator Specific Job Responsibilities:
Service foreclosure, litigation and mediation departments by scheduling hearings and mediations timely and effectively Ensure hearings, trials mediations, depositions etc. are added to the diary in firm system Maintain records of hearing dates and times and attorney coverage in firm system Communicate with judicial assistants to obtain hearing dates to coordinate with opposing counsel, defense counsel and pro se defendants if necessary Communicate with caseload attorney and paralegals and provide assistance when needed Communicate with local counsel coverage attorney Have basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and MS outlook Be very organized and work in a fast paced environment with attention to detail
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
A minimum of one year legal administrative experience. Foreclosure hearing coordination experience preferred.
Required Education and Training:
High School diploma or equivalent Paralegal Certification is optional
