Full-Time We are seeking a professional, and dependable Legal Secretary / Receptionist to join our busy law firm in Iowa City. This position serves as the first point of contact for our clients and plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while keeping the office running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Prior legal experience is welcome but not required. Primary Responsibilities Answer and direct a high volume of incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Greet clients and visitors. Schedule appointments and maintain attorney calendars. Take accurate messages and relay information promptly. Perform general administrative and clerical duties. Prepare, scan, copy, and file documents. Assist attorneys and staff with administrative tasks as needed. Maintain confidentiality of client information. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Friendly, professional, and compassionate demeanor. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel). Strong attention to detail and reliability. Starting salary between $30,000 - $40,000 with the possibility of quarterly bonuses.
