In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support across various practice areas, ensuring the smooth operation of our law office. Your proactive approach and excellent organizational skills will help facilitate legal processes, manage case files, and streamline daily operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of legal proceedings while honing your skills in a fast-paced, professional environment. Duties Manage and maintain legal case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Draft, proofread, and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Organize and coordinate client interviews, witness interviews, and other meetings to facilitate effective case management. Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling court appearances or meetings, answering phones with professional etiquette, and handling incoming inquiries efficiently. Support legal administrative functions including filing (both physical and electronic), proofreading documents for accuracy, transcription of dictations or notes, and maintaining organized filing systems for easy retrieval. Experience Prior legal administrative experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with legal case management software such as Abacus or similar platforms. Familiarity with a broad range of practice areas including personal injury law, employment law, and litigation procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Exceptional writing skills for drafting correspondence and legal documents with clarity and professionalism. Proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as data entry, document review, proofreading, transcription tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette to interact confidently with clients and attorney.
