Job Description
Bagley & Miller, P.C. is located at 6 S. 4th St., Ste. 2, Pekin, IL 61554. We are a law office led by a sole practitioner with the support of one dedicated secretary. Our practice areas encompass corporate law, banking law, estate planning, trusts, estates and real estate law. We are currently on the lookout for an individual who demonstrates proficiency in both WordPerfect and Word. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills. Additionally, the ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Strong telephone etiquette and proficient writing capabilities are essential. The selected candidate must thrive in a professional setting and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality regarding both clients and office operations. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, typing and electronically filing various legal documents, including correspondence and pleadings, conducting light bookkeeping tasks, managing the scheduling of appointments, and performing general reception duties. This position demands a commitment of 30 to 34 1/2 hours weekly. Our compensation is competitive and based on the candidate's experience. We offer paid vacation and holidays.
