Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Closing Assistant to join our dynamic law office team. In this vital role, you will support the closing process for real estate transactions by coordinating title processing, conducting research, and ensuring all legal and procedural requirements are met efficiently. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth closings while delivering exceptional client service to clients and stakeholders. Duties Assist with title processing by reviewing documents, verifying legal descriptions, and ensuring compliance with real estate law standards Conduct research related to property records, zoning, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and other relevant data sources to support transaction accuracy Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and clients to gather necessary documentation for closing procedures Prepare and review closing documents, ensuring all details align with legal requirements and client instructions Support the research of property histories and resolve discrepancies in titles or legal descriptions Manage the workflow of closing files from initiation through final settlement, maintaining meticulous records Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, agents, and internal teams throughout the closing process Qualifications Strong knowledge of real estate law and title processing procedures Experience conducting research using various legal databases and GIS tools Familiarity with the closing process within a law office setting or real estate environment Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor Prior experience working in a law office or related legal environment is preferred Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values precision, professionalism, and exceptional client service.
