Our practice focuses on estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, trust administration, and probate. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative skills, prior legal support experience, and comfort working in a case management system. This role offers a chance to work closely with clients during meaningful life transitions while providing essential administrative and clerical support to our attorneys. Duties Manage and maintain client and matter files in Clio Manage, our case management platform Assist attorneys with client communication, scheduling consultations, and coordinating meetings via Calendly Prepare and organize documents for trust funding, probate filings, and Medicaid planning matters Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette; provide excellent administrative support for client inquiries Maintain accurate data entry and filing systems across Clio, and Cognito Forms to ensure seamless document retrieval Support intake and workflow tasks tied to ongoing estate planning and elder law matters Requirements Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal support role Familiarity with legal drafting, document review, and case management software; experience with Clio is a plus Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential client information discreetly Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with strong word processing and proofreading skills Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and professional client interaction capabilities, especially with elderly clients and their families Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment Paralegal experience or background in Medicaid planning, guardianship, or elder law is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills; ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, transcription, and document review effectively Ability to pass a background check This position offers an engaging opportunity for a dedicated legal professional eager to contribute to a well-established estate planning and elder law firm.
