Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Real Estate Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive support in various aspects of real estate law, including transactional work, litigation, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal support experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing complex cases. Your contributions will help ensure smooth legal operations, facilitate client interactions, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Responsibilities/Qualifications Prepare, review, and manage legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, title reports, deeds, and closing statements. Conduct thorough legal research across areas such as estate planning, landlord-tenant law, etc. Assist with case management using document management systems PCLaw; organize files, track deadlines, and maintain case files meticulously. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams through effective communication and interviewing techniques to gather necessary information for legal proceedings. Manage procedural tasks such as filing documents with courts or agencies, maintaining compliance with legal deadlines, and handling confidential information securely. Provide executive administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, handling phone etiquette professionally, and performing data entry tasks. Assist in project management efforts for complex real estate or litigation cases by coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy. Taking dictation for the prearation of legal documents and correspondence Proven paralegal or legal secretary experience supporting real estate law and related practice areas such as estate planning, general & commercial litigation Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), PCLaw practice management software and other legal support tools.
Pay:
$29.00 - $32.00 per hour
