04/28/2026 Assist in the drafting and managing of resolutions Ensure effective and timely execution of all contracts and agreements approved by resolution Communicate with vendors, County Departments and Passaic County Commissioner's Office regarding contracts and conduct follow-up as necessary Assist attorneys in preparation for litigation and other special projects Conduct limited legal web-based research Answer phones and provide assistance to callers in a professional manner Maintain attorney calendars as requested Maintain and update legal files Maintain and update spread sheets, including master and working contracts logs of agreements on a timely basis during contract negotiations Provide support with drafting, proof reading, editing, and filing of opinion letters, legal memoranda, court briefings, including e-filing Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or one year of equivalent experience required
Experience:
Basic skill level in Lexis and web-based research Experience in the use of a Document Management System a plus Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to handle privileged, confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate and professional manner Excellent organizational skills, record keeping, attention to detail, and time management Proactive, and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines Experience with e-filing on both New Jersey State and Federal District Court systems Team player; provide back-up support when available and as needed
