Job Description

Overview Curcio & Bannon, PLLC is looking for a Legal Secretary/Receptionist to fill a full-time, temporary position. The position will last until the end of December 2026. This vital role combines reception duties with comprehensive legal administrative support. The hours are between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break. Duties Answer incoming calls promptly, directing inquiries to appropriate attorneys with excellent phone etiquette. Schedule depositions and conferences for attorneys and manage attorneys' calendars. Prepare legal documents and correspondence. Maintain filing systems, both physically and electronically, ensuring easy retrieval of documents. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Exceptional communication skills for client interactions and internal collaboration. Attention to detail for proofreading legal documents and transcriptions while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Strong clerical skills, including filing, data entry, phone calls, proofreading, transcription, and record-keeping. Proven experience as a legal secretary or administrative assistant in a law office is a plus but not necessary.
Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
