This full-time position is responsible for helping keep the practice organized, professional, and efficient by managing communications, scheduling appointments, preparing documents, maintaining files, and assisting with general office operations. The ideal candidate is professional, discreet, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a small office environment where flexibility and reliability are essential. Responsibilities Answer phones and communicate with clients professionally. Schedule appointments. Prepare and format letters and legal documents from attorney-dictation. File, scan, copy, and organize documents. Maintain confidential client files. Assist with office administration and billing support. Required Qualifications Strong typing, proofreading, and general clerical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and basic office equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to sit, type, and work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry files, boxes, or office supplies. Ability to move between office areas to file, copy, scan, and manage records Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a law office, title office, court office, or other professional office setting. Familiarity with legal terminology, legal forms, court filing procedures, or case management software. Experience with billing, or invoicing. Experience handling confidential client records. Notary Public commission.
