DR3012 Current Cumberland County Employees will follow the County Promotion/Demotion policy.
Essential Job Functions:
Complete responsibility for interstate initiating caseload with specifically assigned states. Liaison between clients and foreign court where they are responsible to interpret court orders and solicit foreign courts to assist with the difficult task of enforcement. Conducts initial interviews where they determine proper venue, gather required data, and decide the appropriate course of action for each case. Prepares all legal documents for the case initiation process for legal complaints. Assist plaintiffs, defendants and other state agencies by telephone, e-mail, and other written correspondence. Ensures all TANF (Temporary Aid to Needy Families) recipients have filed for spousal/child support as required. Receives and processes mail from the postal service and electronic mail. Copies pertinent information and forwards it to plaintiffs. Performs other related duties and assignments as required. Minimum Requirements to Perform the

High school diploma required.
Work Experience:
2 years' experience in human services, courts, or related field.
