To Apply for this Job Click Here Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for a long-term temporary opportunity with a well-established medical malpractice defense firm in Pittsburgh, PA . This position is primarily onsite, working five days per week in the office, though some flexibility may be available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
Managing and organizing medical records and case files Drafting and partially drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Assisting attorneys with discovery responses and document production Communicating directly with clients to gather information, coordinate meetings, and provide case updates Maintaining attorney calendars, tracking deadlines, and scheduling appointments Supporting case management activities throughout the litigation process Preparing, formatting, and managing documents using Adobe PDF and Microsoft OneDrive Utilizing CasePeer case management software to maintain case information and workflow
Qualifications:
Prior litigation legal assistant or paralegal experience required Medical malpractice, personal injury, or insurance defense experience strongly preferred Experience reviewing and managing large volumes of medical records Strong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Experience with case management software; CasePeer experience is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional seeking a long-term assignment with a respected medical malpractice firm and the chance to work closely with attorneys on active litigation matters. Trial experience is not required.
