We are looking for someone to act as a subject-matter resource on court rules and eFiling best practices and to support complex, multi-jurisdictional matters in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. In addition to a flexible hybrid schedule with two days work from home, the firm also offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development! This is a full-time position with a 10am-6pm schedule, and flexibility outside of those core hours to assist with West Coast cases as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review pleadings, correspondence, discovery, notices, and court orders to identify and monitor deadlines Perform electronic filing in federal, state, appellate, and agency forums Enter and maintain deadlines in the firm's docketing system Research local, state, federal, and administrative rules Track procedures and standing orders Address inquiries from attorneys and professional staff Ensure compliance with format, service, and fee requirements Retrieve and distribute filed documents and receipts Create calendar and deadline reports Coordinate with the managing attorney and docketing personnel as needed Assist with departmental projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of law firm experience with litigation processes and docketing workflows Experience with docketing and calendaring tools, such as Milana, eDockets, CourtAlert, CompuLaw, etc. Familiarity with federal and state court systems, rules, and filing platforms (CM/ECF, PACER, etc.); experience with PA state courts is required High level of professionalism, discretion, and client-service attitude
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
