Workers' Compensation Defense Legal Assistant Our established law firm client is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant to support a busy practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of California workers' compensation procedures and legal administrative support.
Responsibilities:
Transcribe legal dictation, status reports, and settlement documents Prepare pleadings, correspondence, and discovery-related materials Manage case files, calendaring, and attorney support functions Prepare hearing, deposition, and trial-related documents Coordinate filings and maintain accurate billing records
Qualifications:
3+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in Workers' Compensation Strong knowledge of California court procedures and litigation deadlines Experience with e-filing and legal vendors Advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat skills Typing speed of 75+ WPM Experience with A1-Law, VTransact, and EAMS is a plus Apply today to join a collaborative legal team and make an immediate impact.
