Full Job Description Job Overview:
Answer incoming calls and process new client intakes. Directing telephone calls. Receiving incoming and outgoing mail. Communicate with clients, attorneys, staff and other outside personnel to obtain or provide information. Maintaining intake log. Maintaining electronic case files. Organize and file records and documents. Performs additional office support to entire staff as duties are assigned.
Work experience and skills:
Knowledge of legal terminology is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Pro; willingness to learn new software. Knowledge of drafting correspondence, strong attention to detail and follow-through are a must. Knowledge of general office procedures; Experience in law office environment is highly recommended. Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment. Ability to answer busy telephone system. Pleasant, motivated, helpful, and willing to learn. Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to establish and maintain client relationships. Ability to handle pressure, interruptions, and multiple projects with frequently changing priorities in an efficient manner, rapid turnaround required, and generally perform in a fast-paced environment MUST be professional, well organized and detail oriented.
