Job Description
Heideman & Associates is seeking a full time (Monday-Friday) hard-working legal secretary/receptionist. Receptionist experience required. This position is the face of our firm and as such we are looking for someone who is professional and friendly.
Anticipated responsibilities:
- Opening the office each morning and closing in the evening (8:30am-5:30pm)
- Answering multiple incoming phone lines and directing the calls to the proper person
- Scheduling appointments
- Greeting clients and vendors
- Reviewing, logging, and sorting incoming mail
- Scanning documents
- Keeping office supplies stocked
- Running out of office errands as needed (post office, bank, etc.)
- Assisting paralegals and other office staff with administrative tasks
- Setting up client files
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional schooling preferred
- Prior receptionist experience
- Must be extremely punctual and reliable
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual english/spanish is a plus Pay is negotiable and depends on experience. Full benefits including health and dental insurance, paid vacation time, and paid holidays are offered to full time employees after a 90 day probationary period. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m.
