Qualifications Research Negotiation Full Job Description Summary:
Provide clerical and analytical support to help solve problematic issues in the foreclosure process. Provide assessments for mitigation vs. litigation resolutions. Communicate with the legal department to comprise strategies and review ongoing files. Ensure monthly follow-ups are completed for all active resolutions.
Duties:
Review, research and resolve problematic issues raised during the foreclosure process. Review incoming and ongoing files for legal exposure and forward to Corporate Legal when necessary. Communicate with attorneys on daily basis to discuss needed documents and possible mitigation or litigation strategies. Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures as well as direction from supervisor. Analyze pending issues and assessing mitigation vs. litigation resolutions. 6. Ensure monthly follow-ups are completed on all active problem resolution files. All other duties as assigned by management. 8. Resolution of 15% of active portfolio on a monthly basis.
Specs:
Strong organizational and problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Mortgage experience (preferably sub-prime, real estate, chains of title and foreclosure process.) Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Loss mitigation experience desired.
