The ideal candidate will provide administrative support within a fast-paced legal environment, focusing on criminal defense. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. A college degree is required. Duties Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings. Prepare and proofread legal documents. Review and summarize legal discovery, including reports and other materials. Conduct legal research using tools like Westlaw to assist in case preparation and litigation processes. Maintain organized files for case management, ensuring all documents are easily accessible. Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits as needed for litigation purposes. Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and others while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
