Legal Secretary -
Morgantown, WV Pay Rate:
Up to $25/hr (based on experience)
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday Job description: Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a respected, established law firm in the Morgantown area seeking a Legal Secretary to join its collaborative team. This is more than an administrative role—you'll become a trusted point of contact for clients, helping guide them through estate planning, probate, elder law, and estate administration matters. If you're highly organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and enjoy working closely with both clients and attorneys, this is an outstanding opportunity to build a long-term legal career. What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their legal matter Communicate with clients, courts, financial institutions, and other agencies Prepare legal documents, correspondence, engagement agreements, and client packets Maintain electronic case files and client management systems Schedule appointments, manage attorney calendars, and monitor critical deadlines Assist with estate planning, probate, trust administration, Medicaid, and related legal matters Prepare documents for attorney review and organize signing packets Coordinate mailings, client communications, and case follow-up Answer incoming calls and assist prospective and existing clients Support attorneys with a variety of case management and administrative responsibilities Maintain an organized, professional office environment while handling confidential information Qualifications Previous legal assistant, legal secretary, paralegal, or professional administrative experience preferred Bachelor's degree or comparable experience is a plus Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to learn new legal software and technology Dependable, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow
Pay:
Up to $25.00 per hour
