Talladega Healthcare is currently hiring a Medical Billing. Location Talladega Alabama 616 Chaffee St Medical Biller for
Skilled Nursing Facility Job Duties :
Processing accurate and complete claims to Medicare, Medicare Advantage and payors Work unpaid claims, rejections or denials of claims in a timely manner and resolve issues Make phone calls to insurance companies to resolve reimbursement issues Posting of remits from payors Accurate and complete resolution of any balance remaining after payment from payor is received Billing and collecting copays/patient responsible amounts Prepare and send private statements Make AR phone calls in a professional manner and follow up to ensure collection Follow collection policy Meet weekly with supervisor to review AR Attend Medicare weekly meetings Receive and post cash receipts Make deposits daily Maintain manual census as assigned Any additional duties as requested by supervisor or management
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Strong computer skills- Excel Positive attitude Ability to work under deadlines and strong attention to detail Excellent communications skills Willingness to work together as a team Familiar with ICD10 and medical terminology One (1) year of billing experience with Medicare or other insurance billing/coding

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
