We are a busy family medicine practice looking for someone who is organized, efficient, and comfortable managing a variety of billing responsibilities. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about insurance and patient responsibility and can communicate that information clearly and professionally.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has previous medical billing experience (required) Has a strong understanding of insurance plans, eligibility, and benefits Understands copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and patient responsibility Can confidently and professionally explain billing and insurance information to patients Is familiar with CPT and ICD-10 codes Has experience with claim submission, follow-up, denials, and EOBs Has experience with accounts receivable and outstanding balances Is detail-oriented and able to manage a busy workload Can multitask and prioritize responsibilities throughout the day Has strong computer skills and is comfortable learning new software Has excellent communication and professional phone skills Is reliable, professional, and works well as part of a team Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance is a plus.
