This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing accounts without constant supervision. Accuracy and follow-through are critical.
Responsibilities :
Submit and track dental insurance claims (electronic and paper) Review and post ERAs and insurance payments accurately Reconcile EOBs and ensure correct write-offs per contracted fees Follow up on outstanding claims and aging reports Verify insurance benefits and breakdowns Resolve claim denials and underpayments Maintain accurate patient account balances Work closely with management to reduce
AR Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years dental billing experience (required) Strong knowledge of PPO insurance plans and fee schedules Experience posting insurance payments and adjustments Ability to read and interpret EOBs/ERAs Familiarity with dental software (Practice-Web preferred) Detail-oriented and highly organized Professional communication skills
