COMPANY OVERVIEW
Complete Care California, LLC is an outpatient facility that provides individual counseling for individuals who reside in long term and temporary facilities.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The program utilizes the Molina Healthcare and IEHP billing portals for the coordination, submission, and management of billing related to multidisciplinary services.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Credentialing:
Review and obtain all required supporting documentation for therapist credentialing and submit materials to the credentialing department. Complete timely follow-up on all pending applications with the credentialing department to ensure efficient processing. Maintain updated therapist profiles, including NPI numbers, CAQH accounts, and internal tracking spreadsheets. Monitor and maintain current documentation such as professional licenses and malpractice insurance. Ensure strict confidentiality of all therapist information and records.
Billing:
Verify client insurance coverage and eligibility for therapy and related medical services. Accurately post charges and payments to the appropriate client accounts. Obtain pre-authorizations for therapy services as required by insurance plans. Communicate effectively with insurance providers, therapists, and clients regarding coverage, claims, and billing questions. Review patient billing statements and correct any missing, incomplete, or inaccurate information. Utilize billing software to prepare, submit, and track insurance claims. Follow up on unpaid or delayed claims and resolve discrepancies through telephone, fax, or email communication. Use insurance carrier portals to obtain eligibility, benefits, and claims information. Investigate, correct, and appeal denied claims to ensure appropriate reimbursement. Complete necessary data entry to maintain up-to-date spreadsheets, logs, and reports. Assist clients with establishing payment plans when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of insurance guidelines, including
IEHP, HMO/PPO
plans, and other payer requirements and systems. Proficient in the use of computer systems, billing software, and Electronic Health Records (EHR). Familiarity with CPT coding for both outpatient and inpatient behavioral health services. Experience in behavioral health billing processes and requirements. Experience with behavioral health credentialing procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills for interacting with patients regarding claims, payments, and billing questions, including sensitive communication with patients and family members. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage conflict appropriately. Problem-solving skills to research and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, appeals, and collections issues. Strict adherence to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Minimum of 3 years of recent medical billing experience . Minimum of 3 years of credentialing experience .
